Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week, I list ten answers that correlate to the topic question. This week’s topic is centered around books that have been on my TBR the longest! I think it’s fair to assume that most reader’s TBR shelves tend to multiply faster than a rabbit on steroids. Mine at least, has been expanding for years, and there are a handful of books that have been on there for a number of years. Maybe this list will motivate me to read them at last! Without further ado, here’s my top ten!
10. Insignia by S.J. Kincaid
9. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
8. Eragon by Christopher Paolini
7. Gone by Michael Grant
6. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
5. Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
4. Enclave by Ann Aguirre
3. Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
2. Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
That’s all folks! I hope you enjoyed my list. Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading! ❤
I love this list, Kelly 🌸
I enjoyed Uglies and The Perks of Being A Wallflower; the movie is also so, so good! I absolutely loved The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, I haven’t continued on with the series just yet but I really want to!
Thirteen Reasons Why was a bit of a let down but I did really enjoy the series. I hope you enjoy all of these books 😊

Fab list Kelly! SO many I share with you as well, I’ve read Uglies by Scott Westerfield and actually did part of my dissertation on it for university. I really liked the first book, I wasn’t as enthralled with the second and third though!

Ah yes, I relate to this list- Gone has been on my list forever and Eragon was there until last year when I finally read it (it was okay) I do recommend daughter of smoke and bone and perks though!

Of the books listed, I only own Eragon, so I’ll probably read that one at some point. Hopefully I’ll read Gone, DoSaB and Perks of Being a Wallflower too!

You should definitely get round to reading TPOBAW soon, it’s amazing. And Gone is definitely high up on my TBR 😂😂😂

I’ve read Eragon (loved it! but long), 13 Reasons Why (thought provoking), The Perks of Being a Wall Flower (didn’t meet the hype for me), and Artemis Fowl (for younger audiences). I have The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and Uglies on my TBR. Looks like an interesting list!

Ah, good to know! The reason I included Artemis Fowl was because my middle school self wanted to read that series so badly! I own the books and have just never picked them up. I hope to some day though!

I still haven’t read Daughter of Smoke & Bone, Eragon, or The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer too. Artemis Fowl was really good, but I haven’t been able to finish the series yet. I LOVED Enclave so much. That entire series is one of my all-time favorites. Uglies was okay, but I ended up not finishing the series because it started to get so boring.

I own the first three Artemis Fowl books, but have never read them! I own the Uglies, but haven’t read it yet. There’s a handful of books I want to read before it, so I might keep the Uglies on hold for a little while.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Enclave is on my list too for like… forever 😀
I actually decided i will read smoke&bone on my holiday in March. I’m going to Prague and someone mentioned in a comment somewhere that the setting of this book is based on Prague. So should be fitting 😀
