Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo has remained my favorite Young Adult duology of all time. I can’t recommend it enough, and truly believe that it sets the bar for other novels of the sort. The characters, relationships, and world building are wonderfully encased in a fast-paced plot, and I adore every bit of it. I chose the quote above, simply because I thought it’s a charming quote that crafts a sweet portrayal of what love is at its core. While it feels sensational to receive gifts from admirers, I personally believe that the heart of any relationship lies in knowing your significant other and showing the time and dedication to learn about them before trying to fulfill your own desires.

Thanks for reading, dolls! What do you think of this quote? Have you read Six of Crows? Let me know in the comments!kelly (3).pngInstagram | Twitter | Goodreads | Bloglovin

  1. I do like this quote. What one needs in a love relationship is a sincere interest from the other one to you and the other way round. So yes, knowing your favourite flower, book, colour, perfume, city, memory, … , whatever.

  2. Aww, this is such a sweet quote. I truly believe Six of Crows is among the best YA series in a long time, and it’s my absolute favorite too, along with Harry Potter and the Bartimaues trilogy. (You have good taste! 😛 )

      1. Oh, it’s a super underrated YA series due to it being released waaay before Booktube! It’s written by Jonathan Stroud, and I’d totally recommend it you like funny books like Percy Jackson. Not to mention, it’s got a really powerful conclusion, so give it go sometime if you have the time! 😉

    1. Please finish Crooked Kingdom, Aimee! It’s amazing!!! I totally understand trying to get back into a series after it’s been a while since you’ve read it’s predecessor! But it’s worth it! 😊
