Quite the Quote is a weekly meme created here, at Another Book in the Wall, where I share some of my favorite quotes from literature! I will also include a short reflection about it as well. If you would like to join me in this meme, feel free to do so! Just link back to me in your post, so I can easily see your quotes!
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo has remained my favorite Young Adult duology of all time. I can’t recommend it enough, and truly believe that it sets the bar for other novels of the sort. The characters, relationships, and world building are wonderfully encased in a fast-paced plot, and I adore every bit of it. I chose the quote above, simply because I thought it’s a charming quote that crafts a sweet portrayal of what love is at its core. While it feels sensational to receive gifts from admirers, I personally believe that the heart of any relationship lies in knowing your significant other and showing the time and dedication to learn about them before trying to fulfill your own desires.
