Bloggers Who Have Made My 2018 Amazing // Pardon My Sappiness & Gushing

Hello loves! My one year blogiversary is in a week – I’m honestly squealing like a child in a candy store! – and as this date approaches, I’ve taken some time to truly reflect on how grateful I am to have met so many beautiful individuals through blogging. When I first began Another Book in the Wall, I never imagined how close to this community I would become! I pour a small fraction of my heart in each and every post, and seeing this love mirrored back to me by so many people means more than anything! I truly feel as though I’ve grown as a person and I have many of you in the community to thank for this! Here are a few bloggers who I absolutely aspire to be like, and am immensely grateful for having met through blogging!

Destiny @ Howling Libraries – Words can’t express how much I love this wonderful book dragon! Destiny has been such a fantastic blogger and amazing friend to me this past year, and she’s truly been there for me through all my ups and downs. When I first began blogging, I was hesitant to interact with “big bloggers”, but Destiny showed me nothing but kindness! She’s also been right by my side for numerous blogging milestones! I had my first group buddy read with her, and we even celebrated our first 1k followers together!

Kay @ Hammock of Books – I believe Kay and I started our blogs around the same time – close to the beginning of this year – and I’ve enjoyed every interaction we’ve shared since! She always posts such fun tags and beautifully insightful discussions! We also tend to mirror one another’s thoughts on many topics in YA literature, and I just love chatting about them with her!

Lily @ Sprinkles of Dreams – I’m fairly certain it’s impossible not to adore this precious ray of sunshine! Lily not only posts amazing reviews and bookish lists, but also spreads so much kindness and love for other bloggers! How she always boosts others is a beautiful part of her personality, and I strive to reach this level of compassion!

Marie @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books – If you engage in the reading community often, Marie is someone I’m sure you’ve noticed! She is one of the sweetest and friendliest bloggers out there, and her welcoming personality is absolutely infectious! We began following one another’s blogs in the latter half of the year, and she never fails to bring a smile to my eyes with her kind comments! She’s also such an inspirational blogger and every post she shares is pure gold!

Jenna @ Bookmark Your Thoughts – I love this sweetheart so much! Jenna and I are huge tagging buddies, and my heart lights up every time I’m notified that she’s tagged me in an exciting post! Her bubbly and enthusiastic personality makes every review, tag, and meme she publishes, so joyous to read through! Also, isn’t this just the cutest name for a blog? Love it, and her so much, so yes, you need to follow her if you don’t already!

Kate @ All the Trinkets – I met this lovely individual quite recently, and she is honestly one of the most compassionate bloggers I have ever had the great fortune of interacting with! She reached out to me during a rather dark time, and showed me such gentleness. I will forever be thankful for this and the effect it had on me! She always posts such wonderfully motivational and helpful discussions on her blog, and I adore her messages about spreading love and positivity!

Tiffany @ Read by Tiffany – I love everything about this amazing, tea-drinking fangirl! Tiffany always has the best recommendations for YA contemporaries, and her passion for these books makes me want to read them at the soonest opportunity! A few months ago we stumbled upon the realization that we both live not far from one another, which is a super fun little factoid! She also recently shared a list of her favorite Taiwanese foods, and my Asian taste buds and hers much be near twins because I love 90% of the food on her post so much!

Krysta & Briana @ Pages Unbound – These two lovelies hands-down have my favorite discussion posts of any blog! Not only do they provide unique insight on topics that aren’t mentioned too often in the community, but they also share many posts that pertain to Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings. Despite my love for Young Adult literature, I’ll forever reserve a special place in my heart for Middle Earth, and the Tolkien-related discussions at Pages Unbound are incredibly original, and nothing short of phenomenal! Krysta and Briana’s writing is also so pleasant and engaging that I can’t help but feel wholly absorbed by every paragraph.

Kat @ Novel & Waffles – This waffle-loving bookworm joined the blogging community not too many months ago, and what a radiant light she has become! Kat is one of the sweetest and funniest people you’ll eve meet! Her humor is always on-point, and makes for such exciting posts and conversations! The designs and graphics of her blog are absolutely stunning – I don’t know how she does it! I adore chatting with her so much, and am so happy to have met her!

Malanie @ Malanie Loves Fiction – If you need someone to fangirl with, Malanie is the number one person to talk to! Her enthusiasm for books is palpable, and I blame her in full for filling my to-read list with so many YA contemporaries! We also share an intense love for friendships and found family in books, and it’s such a treat every time we touch bases! Plus, she’s my fellow A List of Cages advocate, because soft boys and brotherly love are amazing and it’s beautifully done in this book!

Rae @ Thrifty Bibliophile – Rae is one of the sweetest, most supportive bloggers in the whole universe. I believe her blog was one of the first I stumbled upon at the start of the year, and she’s produced nothing but absolutely amazing content since! I love her friendly personality, and will always remember how sweet she was for helping me out with Twitter when I first joined that social media platform! The design of her blog and bookstagram account are GORGEOUS by the way, and I highly recommend you check them out! You shan’t regret it!

The Orangutan Librarian – Although there is no such thing as a perfect blog, this one comes awfully close to hitting that mark! The Orangutan Librarian has such a refreshing and authentic personality, and I love all her reviews and discussions so much! It’s surely evident how much she pours her heart into each post, and this creates such a thrilling adventure to read through! She also leaves the sweetest comments on so many blogs in the community, including my own, and I just treasure her amiable nature!

Kaleena @ Reader Voracious – Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you a queen. Kaleena is such a lovely individual and brilliant blogger, and she has helped this community in so many ways! Her tips and tricks for blogging, utilizing social media, and scheduling are unparalleled! I’m quite sure she has saved the vast majority of the community from drowning in anxiety over tracking statistics, with her 2019 Book Blogger Spreadsheet! She’s also such a fun person to buddy read with, and has become a wonderful friend to me over the past year!

Ally @ Ally Writes Things – You don’t know Ally? Well, I’m here to change that! I love Ally so much, and her blog is equally as marvelous as she is! What I admire most about her is how she isn’t afraid to share her opinions! Her unpopular opinion posts are some of my favorites, and she’s such an authentic and genuine person to talk to!

Norrie @ Reading Under the Blankie – The majority of blogs I follow are primarily centered around YA novels, but there are a few I follow because I love the blogger so much, and our slightly differing taste in books motivates me to broaden my reading horizons! Reading Under the Blankie is one such blog, and I’ve found I have a gnawing desire to read more psychological thrillers and sci-fi now. I blame you in full, Norrie! The lady behind this lovely blog is such a fun and hilarious person to talk with, and her posts are always such a joy to read through! Norrie is also an amazing photographer, and takes awesome photos!

Melanie @ Mel to the Any – Melanie is such a beautiful blogger inside and out! Her reviews are so well composed, and her Top Ten Tuesday posts contain the best recommendations! Regardless of how popular a blogger she is, Melanie is incredibly dedicated to her followers, and is always engaging with others in the community! She’s such a sweetheart to talk to, and I can’t wait to hopefully buddy read a few novels with her in 2019!

Aimee @ Aimee Always – I met Aimee a few months ago, and absolutely fell in love with her and her blog! Not only are all of her posts very aesthetically pleasing (you may or may not notice that my new featured images are totally inspired from her!), but also super helpful and exciting to read! We also share the same philosophy about why scary reads are wonderful, but horror movies are terrifying and detrimental to our health. She’s currently on a hiatus, but I highly suggest you follow this lovely bookworm!

Hamad @ The Book Prescription – Hamad and I met a little while ago on Goodreads, but really began talking in recent months over our blogs and Twitter accounts. He is such an intelligent and friendly person to chat with, and every conversation we’ve ever had was so pleasant! His reviews are so absorbing and persuasive, and I find myself adding so many books to my tbr because of him! He is also contrived the brilliant idea of creating bookmarks with summaries of the previous book in a series on them! You can check out the Summary Bookmarks™️, here!

Kelly @ Struggling Bookaholic – My name twin! I love this doll with all my heart, and have had so many wonderful conversations with her before! We’re also absolute twins when referring tropes we love and hate! She tags me in such fun posts, and I had such a blast buddy reading with her a few months back. Kelly is so compassionate and delightful and you definitely need to follow her!

Thanks for reading, dolls! My heart is literally overflowing with love for this community, and I’ll probably make a Part II for this list, because there are so many other bloggers I adore too! And, thank YOU for all the love and support you’ve shown by stopping by! This is also my fifth list for #Project14Lists!kelly (3).pngInstagram | Twitter | Goodreads | Pinterest | Bloglovin
