Cliche Tag | Book Tag

Book Tag (2)

I stumbled upon this tag over at Kristin Kraves Books, and couldn’t resist doing this post, myself!  I would be a millionaire if I received a dollar every time I accused particular aspects of books to be a cliche – and in some cases, I regard the whole book as one!  There are a handful of tropes and cliches I don’t mind much, but the majority of which, provoke me to no end.  Alright, let’s get to it!

Actions Speak Louder than Words – A book that wasn’t or couldn’t be better than the movie

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. Perhaps I’m being old-school here, but I adored the first Narnia movie, and was honestly, pretty underwhelmed by the actual book.  The movie was much more fast-paced, and the action, world construction, and special effects in the movie simply can’t be beat!

Book Tag (2)

Hey everyone! Another Monday, another book tag!  I was tagged for this by the lovely Alysha @ Floral Reads.  Check out her blog, it’s amazing! This tag is essentially the academy awards for books, so being the huge movie buff I am, I’m very excited to answer the questions!

Book Tag (2)

I remember doing this tag years ago on my old blog, and recall it being a ton of fun to do!  I saw this tag by Kayla @ Kayla’s Book Nook and (being a huge fan of Inside Out!) couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do it myself.  Alright, let’s get to it!

A Book That Brings You Joy

Image result for joy inside outSince You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson.  I just finished this book an hour ago, and I adored it!  It’s such a great, feel-good book that’s perfect for putting anyone in a joyous mood.  There was a lot of hype surrounding this book, so I was slightly skeptical about it at first, but I can assure you it’s definitely worth your time. Matson’s writing is terrific, and felt really down-to earth.  Loved the relatable characters, cute romance, thrilling plot, and everything else! I certainly plan on reading more of Matson’s novels in the future.

Book Tag (2)

I love book tags, and am so excited to do my first one since I’ve returned to my blog!  It’s been over a year since my last book tag post, so when I first saw this tag on Life of a Literary Nerd I couldn’t resist doing it myself.
