Autumn Wouldn’t Be Complete Without These Books | Top Ten Tuesday

Fiona's HeaderTop Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week, I list ten answers that correlate to the topic question. This week’s topic is My Fall TBR. Those of you who have been following my blog for a while have probably realized that me and tbr lists aren’t exactly simpatico. I am the very definition of a mood reader, and am atrocious at sticking to reading schedules. With that being said, there are a handful of novels that I hope to read this Fall. This list will fluctuate with my present state of being, but at the moment, I can’t wait to read these titles!

  1. A Thousand Perfect Notes is STILL on my wish list. I’ll get it eventually – I swear! I can’t not own a piece of magic created by a fellow blogger, right? Let alone read it.. Hopefully sooner than I do with other books I buy, haha.

So much yes’s to all the sequels in this post too! Kingdom of Ash, Archenemies and Wildcard! Although I haven’t preordered Archenemies, I can.. pretty much guarantee I’ll end up buying it the moment it’s released anyway, haha.
I’m also really looking forward to reading The Ladies Guide!

As for my own TBR.. The biggest monster I want to tackle is IT by Stephen King. It’ll be a battle, but hopefully it’ll be one worth fighting, haha.

    Happy reading, Kelly!

[Also, how was I not following your blog yet? :/ ]

    1. I feel the exact same way about A Thousand Perfect Notes! I want to support Cait, and have heard such lovely things about it! Really crossing my fingers that I buy it soon and enjoy it! 🤞🏻

And I have such high hopes for KoA, Wildcard, and Archenemies! 🤗

I’ve been wanting to read It for so long, but the size of it intimidates me so much! Hahahaha.

(So happy you’ve found your way here, Kathy! *hugs* ❤️)

      1. Same!

All the sequels! I’ve found that having to wait for sequels makes my expectations for them go up along the way. Hopefully they won’t disappoint, haha. :’)

I’m hosting a readalong in October should you be interested. I’m already scared to death simply thinking about it so I’m trying not to do it on my own, haha.

  2. I’m super excited about reading Wildcard ever since I read the preview from Penguin and it seems so good, I really hope I’ll enjoy it more than Warcross which was only okay to me 😦
I also really need to finish A Darker Shade of Magic, I feel like everyone loves the trilogy and I don’t understand why I never finished it :-/
Lovely post and amazing recommendations! ❤

  3. A Spark of White Fire looks really good, and Wildcard is on my list too- I hope to get to it soon. The ending of Warcross had me quite anxious. 🙂 And I’m a mood reader too- I can totally relate. Hope you get to all these soon!

  5. I am exactly the same with tbr’s. My mood reading tendencies often mean I rarely stick to them, but I am so excited for Bridge of Clay. I’ve been itching to get my hands on a new Makrus Zusak book for so long!!

  6. Omg! As soon as I saw The City of Brass on this list, I did a little dance. Lol! I’m so happy it’s on your Fall TBR!!! I have Wildcard and Archenemies on my TBR as well. I’m excited about those two. Wildcard is out today so I can’t wait for my copy to arrive this afternoon. Fantastic post as always!
